Now, a little about termites…and our comprehensive protection program.
Termites are everywhere in the environment – and, truth be told, that’s not all bad…after all, if it weren’t for termites, we would have a lot of dead trees and stumps just lying around! On the other hand, for the vast majority of us, our home is our single greatest investment and termites represent a serious threat to that investment.
Subterranean termites live underground and only need a gap of 1/32” to gain access to the wood in your home. If they do not have a suitable gap, they can simply construct protective mud tubes over concrete, brick, and metal to enter and begin their feast. Termites are able to digest cellulose with the help of tiny microbes in their gut. Any item containing cellulose can be fed upon and damaged by termites – cardboard boxes, books, priceless artifacts, and cloth are but a few examples.

There are three ways to protect your home from termites. Liquid treatments can be incorporated into the soil around your home, forming a protective barrier. Modern non-repellent liquids are especially effective – termites do not detect these materials, and move through them, transferring the material throughout their colonies and killing them. Bait treatments can be placed around your home, offering the termites a food source laced with slow-acting materials designed to be shared throughout the colony. Finally, borate sprays can be used to protect structural wood underneath the home that might otherwise be susceptible to termite feeding. Any one of these can be quite effective in preventing termite damage – however, as a Plus customer with Black Pest Prevention, you will receive all three – resulting in the most comprehensive termite protection plan available, at a cost that is comparable to most single treatments!
We invite you to call today, and thanks for reading! Next time, we’ll catch up with a harbinger of springtime, the carpenter bee.

I was just wondering if your signature logo frog had a name? Blackie perhaps? Or Hoppy? If he doesn't have an official "moniker" I bet your customers have some good ideas. How about host a NAME THE FROG contest during the month of grand opening celebrations and reward the person who suggests the best name with (?) something you think is appropriate.
Just another mini-marketing idea from yours truly: AC!
