The Service Supervisor will give work directions, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in morning checkout procedure.
*Personal Appearance
*Truck Inspections: appearance, product, equipment, safety equipment - Assist in training of new field personnel.
- Check Technician schedule and adjust as necessary and coordinate with Customer Service.
- Immediately inform Customer Service of all scheduling changes and customer service issues.
- Inspect technicians during the day on the job.
- Assist and trouble shoot as needed.
- Make sure vehicles are maintained.
- Talk with customers as needed.
- Run routes of any absent technician.
- Work a Saturday rotation.
- Rotation of building security (lock up) at night.
- Promptly resolve all technical problems.
- Other duties as required.
A Service Supervisor needs to be responsible, thorough and competent in all areas of the job. You are expected to know where the technicians are as far as completing their routes. It is imperative to do quality checks on technicians to make sure they are doing their job as required. Must have excellent people/interpersonal skills with customers and employees. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must have basic computer skills.
EDUCATION
High School education or equivalent.
