JOB SUMMARY
     A Salesman’s job is to work leads that come into the office and turn those leads into sales. You must also have the ability to generate new business on your own by soliciting residential neighborhoods, business parks, builders, realtors and property management companies, etc.

Essential Job Functions

1. Have knowledge of all Black Pest Prevention Services.
2. Ability to be trained to identify different pests and insect damage.
3. Ability to talk to a homeowner one on one and to a group of prospects.
4. Ability to understand basic math, linear and square footage
5. Make follow up phone calls on quotes that were given and not closed.
6. Ability to work some Saturdays as well as normal business hours.
7. Ability to read maps.
8. Have knowledge of the city and surrounding areas.
9. Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRMENTS
     A salesman needs to know the biology of many different insects and the programs we use to control those insects. It is a must that you can identify not only the insect but also the damage that the insect causes so you can make recommendations on how we will control the insect to the homeowner. Must attend and participate in regularly set sales meetings. Must work side by side with the service department to insure that the customer is getting the problem taken care of and they are getting what they paid for.
You must be clean cut and well spoken. Must have good handwriting and basic computer skills. Must have a clean driving record.

EDUCATION
     High School education or equivalent.
