Performs responsible work in inspecting for, locating, and identifying suspected or reported infestations by insects, rodents, and other pests, determining appropriate eradication and control measures, and implementing those measures. Performs control measures with strict adherence to all state and federal law while using utmost discretion regarding safety and exposure issues. Ensure quality through excellent customer interaction by striving to find solutions in a courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate motor vehicle – must possess valid drivers license.
- Conducts inspections to determine type and degree of infestation.
- Prescribes control measures using their knowledge of pests, assessments, and treatments.
- Utilize application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tool and small power tool.
- Enter/exit structures, crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Meets with manager to discuss problems, plans, and counter measures.
- Maintains neat paperwork and reports.
- Must be able to work as a member of a team in a people oriented environment.
- Excellent people/interpersonal skills with customers and employees.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Maintain appearance of equipment and vehicle and ensure that both are in good working order at all times.
- Other duties as required.
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must wear GLOVES at all times. This is Mandatory.
- Must be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to lift while performing the following:

- Endure exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Safely handle pesticides (possibly other chemicals)
- Read and understand all pesticide labels
- Understand how to properly mix all pesticides
- Must be able to speak/comprehend and read English
- No smoking while performing assigned working duties
