The primary responsibility of a Termite Technician is to provide high quality termite control inspections and treatments for residential and commercial customers. Performs control measures with strict adherence to all state and federal laws while using utmost discretion regarding safety and exposure issues. Ensure quality through excellent customer interaction by striving to find solutions in a courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate Motor Vehicle-must possess valid drivers license from state you work/live in.
- Enter and exit structures, crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Read and comprehend pesticide/termiticide labels and training materials printed in English.
- Read, draw and understand graphs.
- Use OSHA mandated personal protective and respiratory equipment.
- Visually inspect for pest, pest harborages, pest entries, etc.
- Use application equipment, inspection equipment, hand tools and power tools.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, seasonal weather, damp locations and dusty locations.
- Other duties as required.
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must wear GLOVES at all times. This is Mandatory.
- Must be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs.

- Endure exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Safely handle pesticides (possibly other products)
- Read and understand all pesticide labels
- Understand how to properly mix all pesticides
- Must be able to speak/comprehend and read English
- No smoking while performing assigned working duties
